How to Use Astrology in Your Daily Life - Step 3 - Consult the Oracle and Ask Better Questions - The Quality of Your Questions Matters

At this point you intimately know the instrument that is you and can feel the energetic environment. Both sides of the brain are activated!

In Step 3 we start to use astrology as a guide and oracle for specific situations in life. This is where the real fun begins!

Astrologers make predictions by overlaying the chart for a specific day (called a transit chart) on top of your Natal Birth Chart. The alignments and angles between the two charts indicate possible events and outcomes.

When you start using transit charts as an oracle, you will become aware of…

• cycles you are living through, 
• areas of life in which you are evolving, 
• when major shifts in your life will happen,
• moments of possible opportunity,
• time periods that will be challenging and limiting,
• time periods that will feel easy and abundant and
• optimal timing for certain events or activities.

Personally, I love to be prepared, so twice a year I sit down and look at the astrology for the next 6 months to predict how my life might change. I use the information to set up support in the areas of life I can predict will be affected and prepare accordingly.

For example, I can predict that the planetary alignments between my Natal Chart and the transiting planets in the next few months will bring many unexpected opportunities in my career and a lot of changes in friendships. Therefore, I will dedicate this season to working a lot and hold off on taking vacations. I’ll be more at ease and forgiving when people come and go. Also, I usually won’t sign new contracts during a Mercury Retrograde.

To reiterate, it is ALWAYS your choice in whether or not or how you utilize the information. You have the power to express the higher or lower octave of a specific energy and it is your choice in how you respond to every situation in life.

In my experience as an astrologer, the big cycles and moments happen 100% of the time (even when you have no awareness of the charts). The intensity of how the moments manifest and if they turn out positive or negative depends on your level of awareness and what you are actively manifesting.

For sake of time, I’ll explain my evidence in future articles. But I can tell you, my evidence points to my ability to very accurately predict outcomes and events using astrology and following cycles of life that correspond to the planetary cycles.

To receive quality intel in prediction sessions, whether working with a professional astrologer or doing the work yourself, you have to become great at asking quality questions.

Let me explain…

When you want something in your life to change, something new that you’ve never experienced before or information to make an assessment about a situation you need three things -

1. You have to ask a question about what you want to know or how to get what you want
2. Quality and Detailed Data
3. The Ability and Skill to Observe and Analyze the Data

The quality of the insights gained is determined by the quality of your question(s), the level of detail in the data and the ability and skill to analyze the data.

IT guys who collect and analyze huge amounts of data know this concept well. Simply holding the data does nothing for you. Your questions guide your search for answers and useful answers usually come from quality data.

Astrology charts give you A TON of data. You or whoever you are working with needs to have an in-depth understanding of astrology and reading charts to give you quality data. You will receive useful answers and insights when your questions are specific and you talk about how you are seeing the insights from the charts show up in your life. The astrologer will be able to help you better when they know what’s going on in your life. 

Asking an astrologer for advice without telling them what’s happening in your life would be like a musician asking a teacher to help them on a passage without ever playing for the teacher. 

If the musician says, “help me!” And nothing else, 

The teacher will reply, “With what?”

Musican, “Page 10.”

Teacher, “Be more specific. Your tuning, the rhythm, the notes, your musicality. What?”

Musician, “The rhythm. Especially in Measure 9.”

Teacher, “Okay, let me hear it.”

Musician plays.

Teacher, “Now I know what’s wrong. Now we can fix this.”

You need to do the same when you turn to an astrologer for guidance on life scenarios. Be specific and share your situation (especially you Scorpios!).

And if you don’t know what the problem is or you don’t know what you want, ask them to help you talk through it. Dig into deeper layers in the charts. There are MANY layers of a chart. Often talking it out will spark a new insight. 

Astrology is easier to use when you know what you want. We live in a world where if you don’t know what you want or you let fears stop you from going after what you want, you will get pushed and pulled into other people’s dreams very easily.

Nonetheless, we all go through time periods where we don’t know what we want or where our life is headed. It’s normal! In these time periods I go back to learning about myself by digging deeper into my charts, studying new concepts in astrology, doing inner child and shadow work and manifesting small stuff like small, fun items to keep practicing my manifestation skills.
